DMCA Copyright Policy

Effective date: 10 June 2026

1. What this policy covers

1.1 This policy is for reporting copyright infringement of Content on Heduno. It is the channel for copyright complaints; the Complaints & Appeals Policy handles other complaints and defers copyright matters to this policy. To report infringing material on other sites, contact our designated agent (clause 5), who can point you to the right route.

2. UK copyright route (CDPA 1988)

2.1 Heduno is operated from the UK. If you are a rights-holder and believe Content on Heduno infringes your copyright under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, you can notify our designated agent at dmca@heduno.com with the information in clause 4. We will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to infringing Content of which we have actual knowledge, and we operate a policy of terminating repeat infringers.

3. Voluntary US DMCA compliance

3.1 Although Heduno is not based in the United States, we voluntarily comply with the notice-and-takedown provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). Heduno is a "Service Provider" within 17 U.S.C. §512(k)(1), and our designated agent is registered with the US Copyright Office as required to claim the §512 safe harbour.

4. How to send a notice of claimed infringement

4.1 Provide our designated agent (clause 5) with: your electronic or physical signature (as the rights-holder or someone authorised to act for them); a description of the copyrighted work; the location of the infringing material on Heduno (with specific URLs where possible); your address, telephone number and email; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are, or are authorised to act for, the rights-holder.

5. Designated agent

5.1 Send notices and counter-notices to Heduno's designated agent:

  • Email: dmca@heduno.com

  • By post: Wick Entertainment Limited (trading as Heduno), C/O Alexander & Co, Centurion House, 129 Deansgate, Manchester, England, M3 3WR.

5.2 Please do not send other inquiries to the designated agent. Absent express permission, the agent is not authorised to accept service of legal process, and no agency relationship beyond accepting valid notices is implied.

6. Takedown procedure

6.1 On receiving a valid notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the material and notify the affected User. The affected User may submit a counter-notification (clause 7). Where we receive a valid counter-notification, we will restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity. We terminate repeat infringers where appropriate, and takedown actions are logged.

7. Counter-notification

7.1 If you believe your Content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the designated agent containing: a description of the material removed and where it was; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your address, telephone number and email.

7.2 The DMCA counter-notification process asks you to consent to the jurisdiction of a US Federal District Court. If you are outside the United States, you may instead use our UK route: confirm the above and submit to the jurisdiction set out in the Terms of Service (England and Wales), and we will handle restoration on the same 10–14 business day basis.

8. Abuse of the process

8.1 Misrepresenting facts in a notice or counter-notice can create liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). These procedures apply only to copyright claims, not to other complaints. We investigate and act against abuse of the process.

9. Language

9.1 Notices and counter-notices must be in English.

10. Changes

10.1 We may modify this policy; please check back for changes.

11. Not customer service

11.1 The designated agent handles copyright notices only. Account, payment and cancellation queries must go to support (support@heduno.com).
