Confirm it's you before changing payout details or requesting a payout

Before you change your bank or tax details, or request a payout, we ask you to confirm it's you with a code sent to your email. This keeps your money safe even if someone gets hold of a signed-in device.

Why we ask

Your device stays signed in for 7 days. That's handy for posting and messaging, but not enough on its own for anything to do with your money.

Confirm it's you

  1. When the Confirm it's you page appears, select Email me a code.
  2. Check the inbox of your account email for a 6-digit code.
  3. Enter the code.

You go straight back to your payout details or to Balance & Payouts.

How long it lasts

Once you've confirmed, you won't be asked again for 30 minutes on that device. After that, or on another device, you'll be asked again.

If the code doesn't arrive

  • Check your spam or promotions folder.
  • Wait a minute, then ask for another code. The page shows how long until you can.
  • Each new code replaces the one before, so always use the latest.
  • There's a limit on how many codes you can ask for in an hour and in a day. If you reach it, the page tells you when you can try again.

If you enter a wrong code 5 times, that code stops working. Ask for a new one.

Never share your code. Heduno will never ask you for it by email, message or phone. If you get a code you didn't ask for, contact support.
