Refunds and disputes

Your rights come first

Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer. That includes your right to a remedy if content is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality.

Digital content and the 14-day right to cancel

When you buy digital content you ask for it straight away. You confirm at checkout that once you have access, you lose the usual 14-day right to change your mind for that item. Purchases are generally final once you've accessed the content.

When you can ask for a refund

Common reasons include:

  • you paid but can't access the content because you haven't proved your age, and don't want to
  • a custom request wasn't delivered in the agreed time
  • content is faulty or isn't what was described
  • you were charged by mistake

How to ask

Contact support with the email address on your account, the creator, and the payment (from Settings › Transactions).

Where your refund goes

  • Approved refunds are credited to your Wallet.
  • Declined or undelivered custom requests are refunded to your Wallet automatically.
  • Want it back on your card? You can ask for unused Wallet credit to be refunded to your original payment method at any time while your account is open.
  • The $1.00 card processing fee isn't refunded.

Disputing a charge with your bank

Please contact us first. Most problems are fixed fastest that way. You can still dispute a charge with your card provider.

If a dispute turns out to be unjustified, for example the content was accessed or the purchase was confirmed, we may suspend or close your account. We'll tell you first and give you a chance to respond. You can appeal any decision.
